Clément Jashopokwo

Vice-director

Clément Jashopokwo is a national of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and he holds a degree in agricultural economics from the Faculty Institute of Agronomic Sciences of Yangambi (IFA-Yangambi) since 2016. He did his master’s degree in management Biodiversity and Sustainable Forest Management at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Kisangani (UNIKIS). He has worked in Babitolo with indigenous peoples, at the Yangambi biosphere reserve and in the Tshopo Province for several projects related to sustainable agriculture, agroecology and the development of sectors and value chains of agricultural products with Faculty Institute of Agronomic Sciences of Yangambi (IFA-Yangambi), Tropenbos, Plantation et Huilerie du Congo (PHC) and the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). His areas of interest include sustainable agriculture, agricultural policy and development, capacity building at the community level, empowerment and environmental education.
